ABOUT LAUREN
LAUREN JARDINE
AN ELITE PLAYER FROM HIGHLAND, UTAH
I grew up in Cedar Hills and Highland, Utah. I have three older brothers and an older sister. I enjoy Italian food, and my favorite fast food spots are Taco Bell or Raising Cane's. My favorite soda is a tie between Dr Pepper and cream soda. The sports I played include basketball, volleyball, swimming, track and field, soccer, and gymnastics. While volleyball is my favorite to watch, baseball comes in a close second. I competed in track and field as a child, specializing as a pentathlete.
I've always held firm to my beliefs. For example, at 12, I felt strongly about not competing on Sundays. This meant racing with the 13-14 year olds instead of my own age group. Competing against older girls pushed me to new levels. Despite being nearly two years younger, I excelled. This experience taught me that standing up for what's right often has supporters, like my parents in this case. They instilled in me a work ethic and dedication that transcended sports, influencing my growth in athletics, church involvement, and personal achievements – all shaping who I am today.
I graduated this spring of 2024 with a major in Economics and my dream job is to work with Disney's marketing team.
